Camping After Lockdown

It was good. Must admit camping was a bit cramped but it didn't detract. Pod were good as were the breakfasts. Very helpful staff.

Me and my friends stayed here overnight, and our stay was very pleasant apart from the delayed heating. We rented out 3 pods and they were so clean & beds... read more were also comfy. Breakfast was included in our booking which consisted of 2 pastries/person, 1 serving of coffee, yoghurt & fruit juice - lovely but not enough for the men who were hungry. Common kitchen & WC were also kept clean, we were very impressed. You also have to pay £1/8 min for the shower & £0.80 for the blow dryer which we did not use. Overall it was a pleasant experience, and William - the owner, was very approachable. All the staff were also very nice to us.

Nice rural campsite. Lovely surroundings. Easy 10 minute walk to the nearest pub. Make sure you take a torch for any night time trips to the loo. Fire pits can... read more be hired and plenty of logs purchased for a lovely firelit evening. Nearby takeaways are happy to deliver if you don't fancy cooking. Reception have plenty of menus. We went for Chinese which was nice and delivered really quickly.

Lovely walk following the footpath to local church and across into the village to the pub and a wonderful farm shop.

Such a lovely secluded spot, friendly helpful staff. Clean toilets, showers and lots of helpful facilities. Love the Hobbit & Lord of the Rings theme.

Clean basic campsite well located for visiting Stonehenge sadly ruined by the loud party on site and DJ playing until the early hours. My kids couldn’t sleep for hours and... read more only just got them to sleep at midnight. Makes a mockery of the ‘no noise after 10’ and we were given no warning. I have a 7 hour drive tomorrow with minimal sleep. On this basis I really can’t recommend and would warn other campers to be aware that this may happen during your stay.

Even helping... read more to put up windbreaks for us Stonehenge is about 5 min drive and Salisbury about 20 mins both worth a visit. Would definitely recommend this site and will be returning, with some marshmallows - Mark 🙂

Beautiful site, well maintained, friendly helpful staff. The facilities are Great, theyve thought of everything and there's lovely walks just next to the site. The glamping pods are very pretty... read more and the local village with thatched cottages, quaint church and country pub is minutes away. We wish we were staying longer but we will be back.
