Glamping Get Away

We are just returned from a 3 night stay at Stonehenge campsite. The site is excellent - well maintained, with clean facilities. Will definitely come again and recommend you to our friends.

Very disappointing. We booked 3 weeks in advance for 1 night. Upon arrival, the campsite was simply packed (during COVID time, so didn't feel very COVID safe). At check-in, no indication on... read more where our pitch was or where the amenities were was given. So the warden went to see "where to put us", as if no pitch was actually planned or booked for us. After a few minutes we were directed to what seemed an improvised last minute pitch, next to the campiste access road. The pitch was very small with barely enough space for our van, and did definitely not respect the 6m rules between customers. We were given the explanation that it was all there was left as they weren't expecting so many people. But I'm pretty sure everybody had to book, especially on a bank holiday week-end... Anyways, we didn't get any apologies and were made to feel like an incovenience. Not very pleasant considering that we BOOKED in advance and almost camped on the pathway. So wouldn't recommend at all during busy times like bank holidays or half-terms.

We had the best weekend in bustopia. The staff (especially mark) couldn’t have been nicer or more helpful. We now plan to return yearly given how much fun we had.

It was good. Must admit camping was a bit cramped but it didn't detract. Pod were good as were the breakfasts. Very helpful staff.

Would highly recommend to friends and relatives. Friendly staff and a great experience. We walked to Stonehenge which took about 2 hours on a slow walk through various fields and countryside. The log burner was a very welcome addition and kept the chill off.

A great camp site, great staff and great facilities. This was such a great place to stop and rest for . the night,we had been driving around the west country for two... read more weeks visiting relatives and this was such a welcome sight. The campers kitchen is very well equipped, and the showers and toilets are always very clean and tidy. We will definately be back soon.

Clean basic campsite well located for visiting Stonehenge sadly ruined by the loud party on site and DJ playing until the early hours. My kids couldn’t sleep for hours and... read more only just got them to sleep at midnight. Makes a mockery of the ‘no noise after 10’ and we were given no warning. I have a 7 hour drive tomorrow with minimal sleep. On this basis I really can’t recommend and would warn other campers to be aware that this may happen during your stay.

We love it. This is the only site we saw available in a better price that is near stonehenge, bristol and bath where we spend camping for 2nights to see... read more those places. We booked the eden pods, very comfy. The booking comes with a free breakfast which I like. The shower needs to put coin to operate, which is understandable, to save water. There is a one way system and you cant be using the same bathroom at the same time if not in the same bubble due to covid rules which is quite safe.
