It was on the third night that they really showed their true colours however - the PLACE IS PLAGUED WITH RATS!! THEY ARE EVERYWHERE!! The site were told and 3 days later nothing at all has been done. They showed no surprise when told so I expect they have known for a while "the man we use is coming tomorrow" has been their line for days. The rat runs can be seen under the bus and Yurt. There is no remorse on their part. Find somewhere else, they just want your money and don't care what conditions you have to put up with while they get it. A badly run, customer unfriendly, cramped, rat run......do yourself a favour and look elsewhere

Really nice people running the camp. We had terrible weather but the wardens check up on us which was great. Great amenities too.

Lovely warden and site. Nice local pub not too far. No dog walking field though so lost a star on that for us. But would recommend.

Would definitely recommend this site and will be returning, with some marshmallows - Mark 🙂

Lovely walk following the footpath to local church and across into the village to the pub and a wonderful farm shop.

Nicely managed campsite, clean facilities. Small shop on site. Only negative is that they could do with a few more showers as there are only two for each sex. However,... read more as they are on 4 minute timer I've not had to wait too long for one so far (the 20p charge is donated to the air ambulance which is nice to know). This is only a niggle and we had a great time here and would come back.

Me and my friends stayed here overnight, and our stay was very pleasant apart from the delayed heating. We rented out 3 pods and they were so clean & beds... read more were also comfy. Breakfast was included in our booking which consisted of 2 pastries/person, 1 serving of coffee, yoghurt & fruit juice - lovely but not enough for the men who were hungry. Common kitchen & WC were also kept clean, we were very impressed. You also have to pay £1/8 min for the shower & £0.80 for the blow dryer which we did not use. Overall it was a pleasant experience, and William - the owner, was very approachable. All the staff were also very nice to us.

Best ran and well maintained campsite ive ever been to. Clean toilets, hot showers and great on site communal campers kitchen ?
