How to get to Stonehenge Campsite

We are in a convenient, easy-to-find location just off the A303. Please see our directions below the map or follow GPS postcode SP3 4TQ.

We are just two miles South West of the new £28 million pound English Heritage Stonehenge Visitor Centre and 3 miles west of Stonehenge and its stunning landscape, managed by the National Trust.  We sit an easy nine miles North West of Salisbury, just outside Winterbourne Stoke (see map below).

Please don't confuse our excellent location with other campsites which offer close access to Stonehenge, such as Brades Acre (7 miles) or Stonehenge Touring Park (6 miles) or Coombe Down (9 miles). We are the closest campsite to Stonehenge.

We're about an hour from the M25, Newbury, Swindon, Bristol, Taunton and only 40 minutes from Southampton & Bournemouth. In short, we are within an easy hour's drive many other locations of interest to campers and glampers alike.  We offer a perfect location for a 3-day short break or a week's camping as part of a tour.

From Stonehenge Visitor Centre - head south on A360 and then west on A303 for 1 mile. Take the 1st left after Winterbourne Stoke onto B3083 and head south for 1/2 mile. The campsite is on the left (drive time approx. 5 - 10 mins).

From Wylye - head east on A303 towards London for 4 miles and then take 1st right onto B3083, heading south. The campsite is 1/2 mile on the left (drive time approx. 5 mins).

From Salisbury - head north west on A360 Devizes road for 6 miles. At A303 roundabout take the 1st exit left, heading west onto A303 for 2 miles. Take the 2nd left onto B3083 and head south. The campsite is ½ mile on the left (drive time approx. 15 mins).
